Job Opening - Community Development Coordinator

We are hiring a Community Development Coordinator for our Administrative team. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) and is eligible for benefits.

The Community Development Coordinator will: assist in maintaining and developing partnerships with local investors; assist in the administrative responsibilities regarding local share fundraising, foundations and grant proposals as needed; have public relations responsibilities related to presentations and press releases; coordinate major local share fund raising events each year; assist with initiation of new requests; edit grant proposals upon request.

Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field plus 3 years experience required (one year experience if Bachelor's degree).
• Grant writing and fund raising experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skills, required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and automated databases preferred.
• Knowledge of Madison County and key stakeholders preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car.
• Must be able to pass an acceptable background check. Employment will be conditional pending the outcome of the check.
